Blockout blinds, or room-darkening blinds are used to block daylight, and are often chosen for rooms like nurseries, bedrooms and entertainment rooms.

A common misconception about blockout and room darkening roman blinds is that they can only be made in a dark colour. This isn’t true. You can choose any colour you like to suit your decor; even white!

Depending on which fabric you choose, these blinds can filter up to 95% of UV rays.

Many of the fabrics available have anti-static properties designed to repel-dust. This means they are very easy to clean with a little gentle vacuuming or feather-dusting.
